2026 Honorees of Smith Memorial Playground

I address these concerns through my experiences and the way I stay involved in my community. I worked in a maternal health clinic, where I saw how lack of access to health care and education can seriously impact women, especially those from marginalized communities, and it pushed me to advocate more strongly for women’s health. I also speak up about education disparities and try to support and mentor younger students because I believe guidance and access to information can change someone’s path. Through advocacy, mentorship, and listening to others, I work to turn my values into real action and help create spaces based on care, equity, and connection.
