2026 Honorees of Smith Memorial Playground

I address these concerns as the leader of the Black Student Union (BSU) at my school. I plan and run meetings that include guest speakers, presentations, and activities. This year, I helped create a “College Playbook” to guide younger Black students through the college admissions process. I also support students by managing communications through email, Google Classroom, and Instagram. My proudest accomplishment is planning my school’s Black History Month assembly, where we select themes that highlight Black voices, talent, and culture.
